u003cliu003eJumbo shrimp works best for this recipe. They tend to stay plump and juicy when cooked.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eYou can use any variety of crab or any combination of seafood.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eFresh corns are usually best.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eWhen prepping, place diced uncooked potatoes in cold water until ready to use. This prevents the potatoes from going black before you’re ready to use them. Additionally, You can also use red potatoes.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eThe potatoes will take longer to cook, so cook them separately. You can also broil your seafood boil for 1-2 minutes to get crispy edges on everything.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eI ALWAYS recommend reading through the recipe in full a couple of times before starting.
